Example 1:
Oliver hosts a party to watch a sports event on TV and invites 4 friends. Oliver creates and publishes a custom FunWager event and challenges his friends to a friendly wager. Olivers 4 friends install FunWager from the Apple or Google stores and upon launching FunWager, his friends all scan Olivers phone which displays Olivers hosted event QR code. Olivers friends each register an alias and place fun wagers on his published event. Oliver confirms and accepts each fun wager by scanning a QR code displayed on his friend’s phones.
Oliver starts the event by marking it as "Live", thereby indicating no more fun wagers can be accepted and manually "Updates" the markets as the event progresses. Olivers friends can view the updates and corresponding changes on the shared real time leaderboard. Once the event ends, Oliver marks the event as “Ended” and winners are declared. To reward a winner, Oliver scans the winners QR code.
Event result history is saved and viewable by all. If Christine, a Player friend of Oliver, hosts a party, then Christine can register as a Host and Create, Publish and Host an event etc. The fun continues...
Example 2:
A dozen or so friends regularly get together to watch sport at Saul's Local Watering Hole. To accommodate more than 5 Players / 10 fun wagers, Saul decides to make a once-off purchase of FunWager from the store (i.e. Standard Plan). This enables 20 Players or 40 fun wagers to be placed on an event, thereby increasing the pot and the fun. Saul creates and publishes the event and friends place their fun wagers which are scanned and accepted by Saul. The published Event accumulates a total of 23 fun wagers from 15 players (ie. some wagered twice). Once the event is live, the larger pot and ever-changing leaderboard generates tremendous excitement throughout the game.
After the event ends, Saul marks the event as “Ended” and multiple winners are declared. To reward winners, Saul scans each winners QR code.
Event result history is saved and viewable by all. If Jen, a Player friend of Saul, hosts a party, then Jen can register as a Host and Create, Publish and Host an event etc. The fun continues...
Example 3:
Each Saturday a few dozen friends gather to watch sport at Rodney's Reds Hangout. To accommodate more than 20 Players / 40 fun wagers, Rodney decides to purchase a Pro Plan subscription of FunWager from the store. This enables 1,500 Players or 3,000 fun wagers to be placed on an event, thereby drastically increasing the pot and the fun. Rodney is also able to hold Fun Jackpot events which requires Players to perfectly predict the results else the entire pot is rolled over into future Fun Jackpot events hosted by Rodney. Furthermore, Rodney now has Delegate functionality which greatly assists Rodney with accepting fun wagers and other administrative functions.
Rodney creates and publishes an event and many friends place their fun wagers which are scanned and accepted by Rodney and a few Delegates. The published Event accumulates a total of 68 fun wagers from 42 players (ie. some wagered twice). Once the fun event is live, the much larger pot and ever-changing leaderboard generates tremendous excitement throughout the game.
After the event ends, Rodney marks the fun event as “Ended” and a lucky winner is declared. To reward the winner, Rodney scans the winners QR code.
Event and Fun Jackpot result history is saved and viewable by all. The fun continues...
